Ours is a story of timing, mis-timing, and an invisible string that just wouldn’t quit. We first met when we were eight, back in primary school. Annabelle was the cool new kid and Chris was still chasing people with sticks. Then came our teenage years—we were hanging out at the park, sharing music, and managing to almost, but not quite, get together. Somehow, life kept nudging us back into each other’s orbit without ever quite lining things up.

Then came 2020. Just before the world went into lockdown, we bumped into each other again— both in the right place at the right time. A few whirlwind weeks later, lockdown hit, and suddenly we were in long-distance mode. Between hours of video calls and countless messages, we quickly went from rekindling old memories to building a future together.

Since then, it’s been an adventure. We’ve moved houses, towns, bought our first home, changed jobs, said goodbye to some incredible people, gained new friends (and family!), tackled Chris’s weightlifting mishap, and even crossed a Metallica concert and trip to Mexico off the bucket list. Through all the highs and lows, we’ve kept each other laughing.

Now, we’re finally tying the knot! We couldn’t be more excited to have everyone who’s been part of our story here to celebrate with us. Here’s to love, timing, and making this day one to remember!
